Hey! I wanna say that I was really took back by your blog. to start you took the time out to stress how you felt before we started the unit. I felt the same way. i truely thought that i knew everything there was to know about the civil war. But this class did open up our eyes to things that we never saw before. I can tell that you truely saw the impact the war had. I liked how you said "It was a war that lasted only four years, yet has left the biggest social impact on the United States" Thats so true. now that were comparing South africa to the US i see that the civil war wasn't very long. S Africa was at war for 40 years for anything to really happen.But The Civil war changed the US in a short period of time and i like how you pointed that out!
